
Bass Soloist, Clinician and Composer E.Pruitt is a Native of Kansas City and a Graduate of the Charlie Parker School for the Performing Arts. He's a Winner of a number of Bass Awards, including the "2018 Seattle Sound Music Awards" in the "Best Band" category. "E" has toured the US, Europe and Asia, sharing the stage with and opening for artists and groups such as B.B King, Gerald Albright, Norman Brown, Brian Bromberg, The Scorpions, Tony Macalpine, Paul Stanley, Paul Reed Smith, Brett Michaels, Miles Davis Tribute Group "Miles & Miles", Sir-Mix-Alot & Rick Habana. He was one of two bassists contacted by Vernon Reid to fill the open bass position for the band "Living Colour". As a Clinician "E" has conducted Seminars and Dealer Training sessions from Coast to Coast and abroad for companies such as KORG USA, Ashdown Amplification, Warwick Basses, Spector Basses, Bartolini Pickups, and DR Strings. In "2015" Next Level Guitar released "E's" 3 DVD Instructional Bass Guitar set. "2014" "E" accepted the Bass Product Specialist position for KORG USA until "2016" when he accepted the Artist Relations and Marketing position for Bartolini Pickups and Electronics. He was one of the top and most sought after Bassists for Warwick's "1998/2000" In store Clinic Series. While working with ART, he helped design and develop both the "Phat Boy" & "BCC" Bass Effects Processors. In "2025" three songs from the "Bass Graffiti" Album were in the Smooth Jazz Top 100. Playing 6 & 7 String Surine Basses that in some cases mimic a Piccolo Bass, E's Music would be considered Contemporary Jazz combined with Funk, R&B and a taste of Neo-Soul placing him in the company of Wayman Tisdale, Peter White, Gerald Veasley, Norman Brown and George Benson.
